Description: Big concrete crane over railway siding at Sioux Ordnance Depot Fire & Guard Headquarters on the NRHP since October 24, 1994. Near the junction of 1st Ave. and Military Rd. (some of the roads in the HD are hard to distinguish now) and near the former location of Western Nebraska Community College (water tower is left), west of Sidney, Cheyenne County, Nebraska. The depot is sorta used now as an industrial/commercial area, but is much bigger than the demand for such facilities. Crane is quite impressive - France gets the Arc de Triumphe, we get this crane.
