Description: Snelsmore Common Part of Berkshire's largest area of heathland. The common became a country park in 1972. Since then clearance and grazing has taken place to restore the heathland habitat much of which had become woodland. This small valley is at the southwestern corner of the common with the woodland marking its boundary.
