Description: Sphinx overlooking the north terrace of Trent Park House, Enfield, UK. This is one of a pair sculpted around 1700 by John Nost at the top of the steps on the north-east side of the house. They were brought to Trent Park from Stowe, Bucks in the mid 1920s by Sir Philip Sassoon. British Listed Buildings
