Description: The church is representative of the neo-classical revival style of architecture with a coursed fieldstone exterior and cut limestone quoins. Built in 1872 for early German settlers to the area. It has an engraved dedication stone, "Duetsche ev. Luth./St. Johannes/Kirche/1872"
