Description: St Michael's Catholic Church in New Meeting Street, Birmingham, England was opened in 1802 as a Unitarian chapel, successor to the original New Meeting which was burned down (along with the home of its minister, the chemist Joseph Priestley) in the riots of 1791. It is designed as a simple rectangular meeting house, with a three-sided gallery supported on timber columns. The church (seen here from Moor Street) now serves the Polish community.
