Description: St Mark's Church, Derby Road, North End, City of Portsmouth, England. Built in 1970 to the design of John Wells-Thorpe to replace a larger church around the corner. The distinctive architecture includes a very thin freestanding tower. The lion sculpture on the exterior was added in 1972.
