Description: St Oswald's Priory Wall, near to Gloucester, Gloucestershire, Great Britain. The standing wall on this site incorporates the remnants of the church built around 900AD by ?hel? daughter of Alfred the Great. St Oswald�s became an Augustinian Priory in 1152. The priory was dissolved in 1537 but the site was still used as a small church until 1656 when it was pulled down except for this wall which still survives.
