Description: St Stephen's is a Gothic Revival Masterpiece, designed by John Loughborough Pearson. The exterior is dominated by the very tall North West Tower, originally planned to be even taller as a spire was designed to be placed on top. By my estimates, it is at least 35m tall! The Interior is plain but, like the exterior, is of Cathedral-like proportion. The whole church is beautiful and is open most days and visitors are especially welcomed.
