Description: Bellevue Hotel in Brisbane, 1933. The Bellevue had some major renovations during the 1970s. In 1973 the trees were removed in front of the hotel and the balconies removed in 1974.Situated on the corner of George and Alice Streets, Brisbane. The hotel was built in 1885-86 and designed by the architect F.F. Holmes. The building is a three storey construction with verandahs on two levels and featured cast iron ballustrading.
