The ceremony in Brisbane, when a bronze statue by Sir Bertram McKennal to the late Mr T. J. Ryan, formerly Premier, was unveiled. It is of bronze on a granite base with the pedestal gracefully worked in freeestone, and stands at the corner of William and Elizabeth Streets, overlooking Queen's Park.
