Description: This image shows the locations at which the existence of a Stopselclub is documented. In the background, the German state of Bavaria is highlighted, since nearly all Stopselclubs are located in this state. A Stopselclub (German for plug-club) is a social organization, who's members always have to carry a plug with them. If two members meet, each of them can ask the other one to present his plug. If a member forgot the plug, he has to pay a fine. The money which is collected through these fines is usually used to buy beer for the next club meeting.
