Image: Sugar cookies with blue-tinted sugar

Description: when i told mom i had made blue sugar cookies she said, "of course." i think i have a thing for dying food blue. it's probably because one year, when i was little, my mom wouldn't let me have blue frosting on my birthday cake (she said blue is the color of mold, but i was allowed to have green frosting which i argued is way closer to the color of mold).
