Description: Summary of the death penalty of en:Lluís Companys i Jover, President of the Generalitat de Catalunya (1933-1940). who had led a Catalan Nationalist uprising against the center and right/wing republican government, and had proclaimed the Catalan State on October 6, 1934. He was executed, one year after the end of the war, under the fascist rule of Francisco Franco, due to the only reason to be the President of Catalonia, as it can be read on line 7 of this image of the death penalty.
