Description: Swanscombe Skull Site is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and National Nature Reserve in Swanscombe in Kent. It is one of only two sites in Britain to have yielded Lower Paleolithic human bones. An inscription on the larger stone states that it marks the place where the first part of the skull was found in 1935.
