Description: Swindon Station, 19 February 2022. Built by the GWR in 1842 (as Swindon Junction) and partially rebuilt in 1972 with a new BR (WR) HQ replacing one of the original buildings. Pictured is the surviving 1842 building on the island platform. Designed by Brunel in Classical style.
