Description: Archaic contract for the sale of land, on limestone tablet. Signs of archaic appearance. Probably dated to the time of Shuruppak (c. 2600 BC), possibly older. The signs have a phonetic use to note the proper names: SAR ("garden") + KI (parcel of land) = Sar-ki (proper name). AO 2753.
