Description: Tam makhuea (Thai script: ตำมะเขือ): Chopped grilled long green eggplant (makhuea yao; Thai script: มะเขือยาว), grilled green chillies, raw garlic and salt put in a banana leaf package together with cooked egg, some fresh coriander (cilantro) and spring onion. It is a speciality of Northern Thailand where it is traditionally eaten with sticky rice.
