Description: Grave of Hugh E. Laird (1882-1970) was the 12th and 15th elected mayor of Tempe. He served two terms as such. The first term was from 1928 to 1930 and the second term was from 1948 to 1960. Laird is buried in the Sec. 2- 4 -1 of the Double Butte Cemetery.
