Description: The grave site of Josephine Frankenberg (? – 1949). Frankenberg was a nurse who nursed many victims of the Great Influenza epidemic of 1918, back to health. In 1919 she purchased a house which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as the Josephine Frankenberg house. She lived in the house until her death in 1949. Frankenberg is buried in sec. B. of the pioneer section of the Double Butte Cemetery which was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on July 30, 2013, reference #13000020.
