Description: The Church of St Michael at Munslow, Shropshire Built of local Aymestry limestone. The nave is 12th-century. The tower, entered by a broad arch, was added late in the same century. The chancel may be 13th-century. In the 14th century a north aisle was built, the arcade of three arches being built within the existing nave whose north wall was then removed. Also 14th century are three windows in the south nave wall, the east window and south door in the chancel, perhaps the south chapel, the top storey of the tower, and the cruck framed south porch with its elaborate wooden tracery. These details, and a lot more developments in later centuries can be seen at this http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=22866 .
