Description: The sculpture of two cyclists at the Pixham End roundabout, Dorking, Surrey was unveiled in July 2012, less than two weeks before the Olympic cycle road race. Designed by the artist, Heather Burrell, just over half of the cost was donated by members of the public, each of whom is represented by an oak leaf on either the cyclists’ torsos or on the bicycle wheels.
