Description: This is the former England Cricket captain, Michael Vaughan. He led the England team to victory in an Ashes series against Australia in 2005. The first series victory over the Australians for 18 years. Sadly knee injuries hampered his career before forcing him to retire in 2007. A joy to watch when in full flow. He is now part of the Channel 5 highlights programme commentators. This is him after a question and answer session with the public during the tea interval. He is now signing autographs which explains the rather forced smile. The last question came from a young lad who asked "Who is the greatest batsman in the world?" I trust he replied Sachin Tendulkar because he thought the young man might have heard of him because as all avid cricket fans, like myself, know the real answer is Verinder Sehwag. To paraphrase John Lennon when asked "Is Ringo the greatest drummer in the world?" Tedulkar is not the greatest batsmen in the world he's not even the best in India these days. I believe Sehwag can surpass Sachin the way he did Gavaskar when he was a young man. Not much to choose between any of them and what a first 3 they would have made.
