Description: The Last of Hm Submarine Shark. June 1940, South-east of Stavanger, Norway. HMS Shark, Powerless To Dive Or Steer, Just Before She Was Sunk by Her Own Crew To Prevent Her Capture by the Germans. the Pictures Were Taken From a German Trawler Which Had Been Sent Out To Take the Shark in Tow. They Came Into the Possession of the Admiralty. Wounded men of HMS SHARK stand on the deck awaiting the arrival of one of the German trawler's boats. At this moment all preparations had been made by the SHARK's crew for the submarine to sink as soon as she was taken in tow by the Germans.
