Description: The Lizard Light The enormous optic that floats in a bath of mercury. Originally powered by clockwork it is now powered by duplicated electric motors and has a 1,000,000 candlepower bulb that is replaced every 6000 hours. The bulb is permanently lit and automatically backed up. The light is visible from 26 miles. All the UK's lighthouses are now fully automated.
