It is now in possession ofthe Federal troops, but the fine okl house was unharmed, and the gariien, although not in luxuriant bloom, gives an idea of its ownbeauty. In the distance are seen the slave quarters, and some of the old plantation servants have mingled with the troops when thepicture was being taken. Observe the little colored boy saluting on the pedestal against which leans a Federal ofHcer.
