The king (side A, right), surrounded by his royal attendants and a high-ranking official, receives a tribute from Sua, king of Gilzanu (north-west Iran) , who bows and prostrates before the king. In side D (left), Gilzaneans appear to carry casseroles and other tribute for the king. From Nimrud, northern Mesopotamia (Iraq). Neo-Assyrian period, 825 BCE. The British Museum, London.
