Description: Thelma Juana Buchholdt (née Garcia; 1934–2007) was a Filipino-born American lawyer, politician and writer. Buchholdt represented the Spenard portion of Anchorage as a Democratic member of the Alaska House of Representatives from 1975 to 1983. She later became a lawyer and wrote an extensive history on the Filipino diaspora in Alaska.
