Description: This is the location where the Danville train station used to be on Depot street. The railroad track has been replaced with the 'route verte' biking trail and the station has been destroyed. This is where, on June 9th 1866, Private Timothy O'Hea of the 1st Battalion of the Prince Consort’s Own Rifle Brigade singlehandedly put out a fire in a munitions car, earning him the Victoria Cross.
