Description: Triassic-Jurassic boundary mass extinction (one of the “big five”) exemplified by the stratigraphic range of some tetrapod families: many temnospodyl, therapsid and basal archosaur families disappear at the Triassic-Jurassic boundary whereas lepidosaurs and most of the dinosaur families (the latter ones highlighted in yellow), which appear in the Upper Triassic, survive into the Jurassic.
