Description: Long-legged Marsh Glider (Trithemis pallidinervis) Male Trithemis pallidinervis, Long Legged Marsh Glider is a species of dragonfly found in South Asia. They love sitting on small twigs and grasses in open areas, especially in the hot sun. The male and female have similar marking. However, the face of male is metallic purple but rather yellow white in female. The male varies in colour from yellow (below) to chocolate brown and is easily distinguished by its long legs and wings that point upwards. It also has yellow colouration to the base of the wings. Taken at Kadavoor, Kerala, India.
