Description: Late medieval British, Tudor money box, sometimes referred to as a Tudor money pot. Commonly used in Britain from the 1300s to the 1600s. Sealed pot with vertical coin slot for depositing coins. Money would be retrieved when the pot was full, by smashing the pot.
