Description: The only surviving American World War I battleship is the USS Texas. Sadly, it is getting so old it barely floats. On the day we visited it was flooding in its rear compartments and was down in the stern. If you look closely at the back you can see the white water from the pumps and the ship sagging. If the Texas does not undergo an expensive overhaul soon, it will simply deteriorate where it is docked. On days it is not sinking, it is available to board. Ship is geomapped on this page.
