Description: ARABIAN GULF (Jan. 28, 2012) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Allison Mulligan signals an AH-64 Apache helicopter to land on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) during a deck landing qualification. Pearl Harbor and embarked Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (11th MEU) are deployed as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
