Description: Una Dugdale, British suffragette, campaigning at the Newcastle by-election, September 1908. Una Dugdale's (1880-1975) sisters, Joan and Daisy, were also suffragettes. In 1912 she married Victor Duval, founder and Honorary Secretary of the Men's Political Union for Women's Enfranchisement, causing a stir when she refused to repeat the word obey in the marriage vows.
