Description: Vase with lilies and daises, face A. Study #4 for a vase commissioned by Countess Henri Greffulhe as a wedding gift for Princess Marguerite de Chartres, hence the decoration of daisies ("marguerites" in French). The vase is inscripted with a quatrain by French poet Robert de Montesquiou, cousin to the countess. Multi-layered blown crystal with inclusions of glass and gold dust, cabochons and handles added on and fused, 1896.
