Description: Picture of Veronica's Veil Community Arts Center located at 44 Pius Street in the South Side Slopes neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on July 21, 2011. Built circa 1900, the building was once St. Michael's Mädchen Schule (on the front it says this as well as "Errichtet A.D. 1872" and "Wiedererbaut A.D. 1900"). At one point, the place was the South Side Catholic High School: West Building. A Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation marker on the front says the following: "St. Michael's Madchen Schule - Veronica's Veil Auditorium - Home of 'America's Passion Play' Veronica's Veil". The building is on the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks.
