SHE IS IN HER ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION WITH TWO MASTS AND FLYING DECKS EXTENDED OVER THE TURRETS FOR BOAT STORAGE. THE NELSON IS SHOWN AS SHE APPEARED BEFORE BEING CUT DOWN TO A SINGLE DECKER IN 1878.
