Description: This is a well preserved victory stela which was erected by Pharaoh Psamtik II of the 26th Saite dynasty (c.592 BC) at Kalabsha when he returned from campaigning in Nubia. Psamtik II had sacked the Kushite capital of Napata and defeated his rival there--king Aspelta of Nubia.
