Description: Portland Vintage Trolley car 511 at the line's Lloyd Center terminal, just south of Multnomah Street on the single-track, VT-only spur on NE 11th Avenue, in 2009. Holladay Park is in the background. This was the eastern terminus of all Vintage Trolley service from 1991 until August 23, 2009 (the date of this photo), after which time the VT route was moved (effective Sep. 13, 2009) to the Portland Transit Mall and the VT cars only made two trips to this location per operating day, both being unpublicized (and non-passenger) trips made for operations-efficiency purposes. The "vintage" trolleys were 1991-built replicas of 1903/04 Brill cars that served Portland's Council Crest line from 1904 to 1950. Portland Vintage Trolley service ended altogether in July 2014.
