Description: Two Vishnu statues discovered in Cibuaya site, Karawang, West Java. Estimated originated from Tarumanagara kingdom c. 7th-8th century CE. Collection of National Museum of Indonesia, Jakarta Inv. 7974 and 8416. Vishnu is Hindu god of preserver, the tubular crown bears similarities with Cambodian Khmer art.
