Description: BUILT IN 1863 THE PRIMARY REASON THAT TRAINS FIRST CAME TO GLASSBORO WAS BECAUSE OF THE TRANSPORTATION NEEDS OF THE AREA’S GLASS INDUSTRY. DEPOT STOPPED TRANSPORTING PASSENGERS IN 1971, BUT CONTINUED TO BE USED FOR FREIGHT UNTIL 1976.
