Description: The Woolmore Street British Restaurant works on a self-service basis, with diners taking their plates to the counter to be served. Here we see 77 year old T Hambly receiving his lunch from one of the 'dinner ladies', whilst others queue up behind him, receiving their choice of dish from the servers along the line. Mr Hambly was a merchant seaman during the First World War.
