Description: Supermarine Walrus and Fairey Seafox seaplanes at Royal Naval Air Station Bermuda in the North Yard (the fortified original yard) of HM Dockyard Bermuda on Ireland Island in the Imperial fortress colony of Bermuda on the 1 May, 1938. The air station would be moved to Boaz Island at the start of the Second World War, when its operation, along with that of the remainder of the Fleet Air Arm, was transferred from the Royal Air Force to the Royal Navy.
