Description: Stairway Lake, Delaware State Forest, Westfall Township, Pike County in the Buckhorn Natural Area. Topography accounts for the name of the lake. Steep cliffs, terraced into the shape of stairs, lie nearby; at their crest is a narrow <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nicholas_t/2764147916/in/photostream/">vista</a>. A waterfall spills over part of the cliffs, but it ran mostly dry when I hiked here.
