Description: The Whitney Museum of American Art's building at 99 Gansevoort Street between Washington Street and 10th Avenue in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, New York City, at the end of the High Line, was built in 2011-15 and was designed by Renzo Piano. The museum's old building on the Upper East Side will be used by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for at least 8 years. (Source: [1])
