Description: Buffalo Grove ambush historical markers on Galena Trail Road west of Polo in Buffalo Township, Ogle County, Illinois. The marker site is about 1.3 miles (2km) west-by-north of Polo and 0.9 miles (1.4km) northwest-by-north of unincorporated Buffalo Grove; its modern address is approximately 2061 S. Galena Trail Rd. It has two stones, a state historical sign, and a fence with wooden markers.
