An Officer in the WRNS wears a navy blue uniform cut on the same lines as a Naval Officer's. The blue rings on the sleeve show her rank. The hat is a black Tricorne of fur felt with the well-known Naval Officer's badge of the laurel, crown and anchor. The laurel leaves are blue. Promotion is from the ranks.
