Description: A semi-permanent encampment of the Woodland people or the Whittlesey culture, located about the modern intersection of Broadway Avenue and Aetna Road in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. Drawn by Charles Whittlesey in 1867. He described the encampment as a "fort", although later archeological evidence indicates it and others like it in northern Ohio were not meant for defense.
