Description: Photograph of the 432 metre (1,417 ft) mast of the Station G transmitter at Woodside, Victoria, BC of the former Omega, an obsolete worldwide navigation system that broadcast in the very low frequency band between 10 and 14 kHz. This is an umbrella antenna consisting of a mast with diagonal topload wires attached to the top and stretching diagonally to the ground. This is a view up the mast, with the ring of topload wires visible at the top. It was built in 1982 and demolished in 2015.
