"El reverendíssim senyor cardenal dix e respon que és veritat ell ésser fill e natural d'aquesta ciutat, e que la tenia en tanta amor e memòria que per tot son poder faria fos complaguda del suplicat". (Visita a Xàtiva el 5 d'agost de 1473) "En aquesta casa va nàixer Roderic de Borja l'ú de gener de 1432. La ciutat de Xàtiva en el Vé centenari de l'elecció de Roderic de Borja com a Papa Alexandre VI l'onze d'agost de 1492." Xàtiva 5 d'agost de 1992. La traducció del text en llatí és: Roma fou gran amb el César, però ara és grandíssima; regna Alexandre VI; aquell, un home; eixe, Déu.
